Homely and familiar but also completely fresh and new. Panda Bear and Sonic Boom bring their sample-infused collaboration to Sideways!
Noah Lennox, also known as Panda Bear, a musician known from bands like Animal Collective, has during their career explored all corners of pop music. The other half of the duo Sonic Boom is singer-producer and space rock pioneer Peter Kember who has, in addition to Lennox, produced music for ensembles like MGMT.
Panda Bear & Sonic Boom is a duo that pays tribute to 60s pop music by infusing two creative minds into one artistic outcome. Their collaborative album “Reset” was released in 2022 and is a joyful ride through decades. The songs play with different moods, carefully picked samples, varying sounds, and effects. What else other than perfection can be assumed, when two great minds like these are combined?
