The Slovenian indie rock band Joker Out's concerts in Finland, which were announced last week, sold out in no time. Due to the huge demand, additional gigs have been negotiated for the band's extensive gig calendar, with which Joker Out will perform at the desired, age-restricted gig at Tavastia on Wednesday, September 20. In addition, the concert planned for Turku's Logomo Teatro will be moved to the larger Logomo hall, which is also allowed for minors and has a limited drinking area for adults. Tickets purchased for the theater go to the event as such. The sale of additional tickets for the additional concert in Helsinki and Turku will start on the ticket sales channels of both concert venues today, Monday, May 19, at 4 pm.
Joker Out's mega hit "Carpe Diem", which rose to widespread international popularity from Eurovision, has so far been streamed more than 12 million times on streaming services and they became the first Slovenian artist to reach this milestone. Joker Out's line-up consists of Bojan Cvjetićan, who surprised the audience at Käärijä's Tavastian gig a couple of weeks ago, as well as Jure Maček, Kris Guštin, Jan Peteh and Nace Jordan. The band, which describes its music as "Shagadelic Rock n' Roll", was chosen to represent Slovenia at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with its song "Carpe Diem", whose eponymous tour is currently tearing through Europe, constantly conquering new fans with its joyful live energy.
