Feb 26 2018: THE ROLLING STONES (UK) GERMAN DATES
The Rolling Stones will be rocking Germany again in summer 2018 – the band confirmed two stadium concerts in Berlin and Stuttgart during their “No Filter 2018”-Europe tour.
The advance sale for both German shows starts on February 28th at 10am with an exclusive pre-sale via eventim.de, the regular advance sale will start on March 2nd at 10am. Tickets are also availeble at Lippu.fi.
The Rolling Stones are back: After their celebrated concerts in late summer 2017 the rock legends will be touring Europe again in May and June – including concerts on June 22nd in the Olympic Stadium Berlin and on June 30th in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart.
With the second installment of „STONES – NO FILTER“, sponsored by Jeep®, the sponsor of all European tours since 2014, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts und Ronnie Wood resume their exceedingly successful journey that began on September 9th 2017 with an unforgettable concert in front of 82,000 fans at Hamburger Stadtpark.
The tickets for this show as well as the two other German concerts in Düsseldorf and Munich have been sold out in a matter of hours. Now, there’s another chance to witness their unparalleled live performances: The Rolling Stones will treat fans to a set list packed full of classics such as ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumpin Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘Doom & Gloom’ & ‘Brown Sugar’ but each night they will include a couple of unexpected tracks and randomly selected surprises from their formidable arsenal of songs. As always when the Rolling Stones come to town they will bring a spectacular production and state of the art stage design.
Apart from Berlin and Stuttgart, the Stones will also perform in Dublin, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Marseille, Prague and Warsaw. This is what they have to say about their tour that will start on 17th of May in Dublin:
Keith Richards: “It’s such a joy to play with this band there’s no stopping us, we’re only just getting started really.”
Mick Jagger: ‘‘This part of the ‘No Filter’ tour is really special for the Stones. We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. Its always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford & The London Stadium.’’
Charlie Watts: “The Stones audience is the glue that keeps us together. The best and most satisfying moment is when you are reaching the end of the show and they are all going nuts.”
Ronnie Wood: “When I look out at the sea of people when we play all I can see is smiles. It’s heart-warming and I’m glad we make people happy. Music makes me happy, and it makes them happy…. its infectious.”
Happy people should be guaranteed at every of the eleven shows of the upcoming Europe tour – during their last trip they have proven impressively that their age still doesn’t show. Over the past eighteen months the Rolling Stones have been on top of their game with the release of the Grammy Award winning ‘Blue & Lonesome’. They also produced a critically acclaimed documentary film focusing on their ground-breaking show in Cuba. ‘Olé Olé Olé!, - a trip across South America’, directed by Paul Dugdale.
Tickets for the German concerts will be available during an exclusive pre-sale starting Wednesday, February 28th, at 10am on eventim.de. The regular advance sale starts on Friday, 2nd of March at 10am.
A limited number of VIP packages will be available for purchase. Package offerings can include an amazing selection of tickets – including tickets in the ultra-exclusive No Filter Pit – limited-edition lithographs, custom VIP merchandise, and much more.
